What you're agreeing to — and what we promise in return.
Our full Terms of Service and Privacy Policy exist as legally binding documents. This guide translates what matters into plain language. Both documents matter. This one is easier to read.
01 — The Platform
Infanity is a social music platform where liking and commenting on music sends real money directly to the artist. Not streams. Not plays. Actual micropayments from fans who mean it.
Artists can connect their Apple Music catalog or upload music directly. Either way, their music shows up on the Platform the same way — and every like and comment earns them income.
Every like and comment you make uses your Engagement Wallet balance. 80% of every micropayment goes to the artist. Infanity keeps 20%.
We also have Live Spaces — real-time performances and conversations where artists earn from audience engagement in the moment — and Channels, where artists can create curated spaces, open or gated, for their communities.
02 — Your Wallet
Right now, the Platform is free. You fund your Engagement Wallet directly — with a debit or credit card, or with crypto — and use that balance to like and comment on music you love.
- Current cost to join: Free
- Fund your wallet with: Card or crypto
- Of every micropayment, artist receives: 80%
- Infanity platform fee: 20%
- Wallet cash-out: Credits stay on Platform
Coming soon — Subscriptions. When they launch, you'll keep 80% of your subscription fee as Engagement Wallet credit to spend on the artists you love. Infanity keeps 20%.
Note for artists. Artist payouts are being built right now. Your earnings are tracked from day one and will be paid out when the payout system launches. You won't lose a cent that's been earned.
Crypto transactions are irreversible. We can't undo them once they're processed. Wallet credits have no cash value outside the Platform and can't be transferred to another user.
03 — Your Privacy
Infanity is a social platform. That means some of your activity is public by design. Here's exactly what is and isn't visible to other users.
Public:
- Music you play on the Platform
- Listening activity from streaming services you connect
- Likes you give on artist content
- Comments you post on artist content
- Your profile and Social Protocol activity
Private:
- Private messages between users
- Your wallet balance and transactions
- Artist earnings data
- Content inside Gated Channels (members only)
We use your listening data to personalize what you discover on Infanity. We don't sell your individual data to anyone. We don't run advertising.
04 — Your Identity on Infanity
Creating an Infanity account also creates a profile on the decentralized social network we're built on (currently Farcaster). There are a few things worth understanding about how that works.
Your identity is registered on the blockchain. A unique ID is permanently assigned to your Ethereum wallet address on the Optimism blockchain. This is a permanent record — it can't be deleted by you or by us. Infanity pays for this on your behalf.
You hold your own keys. Your wallet is yours. We never hold or access your private keys. If you lose them, we can't recover them — so back them up. You can export your wallet any time.
You authorize Infanity to post on your behalf. We use a signing key to publish your activity to the social network. This key can't access your wallet or any assets in it. You can revoke it any time through your wallet settings.
Your posts live on a decentralized network. Public posts go to the social network — not just Infanity. That means they can persist even if you delete them from the app, since independent network nodes replicate content we don't control.
You can also connect an existing crypto wallet if you already have one. Connecting your wallet doesn't give Infanity access to any assets, tokens, or funds inside it.
05 — For Artists
If you're an artist on Infanity — musician, DJ, or producer — here's the short version of what you're agreeing to.
- You own your music. Always. Connecting it to Infanity doesn't change that.
- You earn 80% of every like and comment on your content.
- You're responsible for having the rights to music you upload. That includes any samples, features, or co-writes.
- If you connect Apple Music, streaming royalties still come through Apple — not through us.
- Your earnings are tracked from the day you join. Payouts launch soon.
- A manager or label can manage your account — but only with your permission. You can revoke their access any time.
We may use your name and image to promote your music on Infanity. We won't use it to endorse anything unrelated to Infanity without asking you first.
06 — Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you have specific rights over your data.
- Everyone: Ask what data we have on you, correct it, or ask us to delete it.
- EU / UK users: Full GDPR rights apply — access, portability, erasure, objection, and the right to complain to your supervisory authority.
- California users: CCPA rights apply. We don't sell your data. You can request deletion at any time.
- Brazil users: LGPD rights apply — access, correction, deletion, portability, and revocation of consent.
One honest caveat: your on-chain identity — your Farcaster ID registered on the blockchain — is permanent by the nature of blockchain technology. Neither you nor we can delete it. Everything else is deletable.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@infanity.xyz — we respond within 30 days.
