Privacy Policy

Infanity, Inc. — Effective May 1, 2026

At Infanity, we believe music is better when it's shared. This policy explains, in plain language, what information we collect when you use the app, why we need it, and how you stay in control of it.

Infanity is for two kinds of people: music fans and listeners who discover and share music they love, and artists, record companies, and music professionals who share their work, connect with fans, and build a career. This policy covers both, and we'll note where things differ.

We don't sell your data. We don't build advertising profiles. We collect what's needed to make the app work — nothing more.

When You Create an Account

You sign in with your Apple ID. Depending on what you share during sign-in, we may receive your name and email address. We use these to set up your profile and let you sign back in. You can add a profile photo at any time.

Artists and music professionals set up an artist profile during onboarding. You can build your profile from scratch — entering your artist name, biography, and genre — or you can search for your existing profile on Apple Music and import it directly. When you import from Apple Music, we pull in your artist name, profile photo, and music catalog information already associated with your Apple Music presence. If you're a record company or professional acting on behalf of an artist, you're responsible for ensuring you have the right to provide that artist's information to us.

For Listeners: Connecting Apple Music

Connecting Apple Music is what makes Infanity social — it lets your friends see what you're listening to in real time.

When you connect Apple Music (or another supported music service in the future), we access your currently playing track: the song title, artist name, album name, and cover art. That's what appears on your profile and in your friends' feeds.

We store a secure connection credential to keep things running smoothly. We don't access your full library, purchase history, or payment information.

You can pause sharing or disconnect at any time from Settings. When you do, we stop immediately.

Connecting Social Accounts

Infanity lets you connect social accounts to find friends who are also on the platform and to surface music content your network is sharing.

When you connect a social account, we access your public profile information — your username, display name, and profile photo — along with your list of followers and people you follow. For accounts where you share public posts, we may also access posts that mention music to surface them within Infanity.

Your profile on that network: When you connect a social account, you also have a profile on that social network itself — one that exists independently of Infanity and that you can access and manage directly through that network at any time. That network's own privacy policy governs how your information is handled there.

Your secure digital account: When you join Infanity, a secure digital account is automatically created for you. This is what enables features like supporting artists and claiming collectibles. You don't need to do anything to set it up — it's created in the background when your Infanity account is activated.

We only access what's needed to make these features work. We don't read your private messages or any content unrelated to music discovery.

You can disconnect any social account at any time from Settings.

Supporting Artists

Infanity makes it easy to support the artists you love. Rather than a manual transaction, support happens automatically based on how you engage — you simply choose your preferred amount in Settings and we handle the rest.

Right now, support is expressed as points. When you engage with an artist — listening to their music, reacting to their posts, sharing their work — points flow to them automatically based on the amounts you've set. Artists can see their points accumulating on Infanity.

Coming soon: We're building a credits system that will allow artists to convert the support they've earned into real value — including the option to withdraw as cash or another form of payment. We'll update this policy when that feature launches and let you know what it means for your information.

We keep a record of support activity for both listeners and artists so you can see your history in the app.

Private Messaging

Infanity includes a private messaging feature for direct conversations between users. All messages are end-to-end encrypted — only you and the person you're talking to can read them. We cannot read your messages.

The only information we store is your list of conversations and when you last read each one.

For Artists: Uploading Music and Creating Collectibles

If you're an artist or music professional on Infanity, you can upload tracks, albums, and artwork directly to the platform. We store your audio files, track details (title, album, release date), and any images you upload.

If you're acting on behalf of an artist — as a manager, label, or other representative — you confirm by uploading content that you have the right to share it.

Digital Collectibles: Infanity lets artists turn their music and artwork into a digital collectible — a unique, one-of-a-kind item tied to a specific release. When you create one, we use the artwork you've uploaded (with AI assistance) to generate a collectible image, which is then permanently associated with that release and the fan who claims it.

Because collectibles are permanent by design — that's what makes them special — they cannot be deleted or recalled once created. This is worth knowing before you create one.

You own everything you upload. Published tracks and artwork are publicly visible on Infanity.

Information We Collect Automatically

To keep the app running well, we automatically collect some basic technical information: your device type, operating system version, app version, and network connection type. We also track general usage patterns — which screens are visited most, where people spend time — to understand how to improve the app. This applies to all users.

When something breaks, we log what happened (the type of error, which screen it occurred on, and recent in-app activity leading up to it) so our team can diagnose and fix it. This diagnostic data is deleted after 90 days.

Who We Work With

Running Infanity requires working with a small number of trusted companies. Here's what they do:

  • Account security & sign-in — a provider that handles your Apple ID authentication and keeps your account credentials secure
  • App infrastructure — a provider that stores and protects your data on secure servers
  • Music services — Apple and any other music platform you choose to connect, through their own secure APIs
  • Social networking — providers that help us connect with the social networks you link to your account
  • Encrypted messaging — a provider that powers our private messaging feature using end-to-end encryption
  • Artist support & payments — providers that process the points and credits system and, in the future, payment conversions for artists
  • Artwork & content delivery — a provider that stores and delivers the music, artwork, and collectibles on the platform
  • AI-generated artwork — a provider that uses artificial intelligence to help generate digital collectible images from your uploaded artwork

Each provider only receives the information they need to do their specific job. None of them receive your data for advertising purposes.

Your Controls

You're in control of what you share on Infanity:

  • Pause listening activity — stop showing what you're playing without disconnecting Apple Music
  • Disconnect any account — remove Apple Music or any connected social account from Settings at any time
  • Delete your account — remove your profile and all associated data from our systems from Settings. We complete deletion within 30 days. Note that digital collectibles, once created, are permanent by design and remain associated with the fan who claimed them.
  • Request your data — email privacy@infanity.xyz to receive a copy of the information we hold about you

Your Rights

California residents: Under California law, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, request that we delete it, correct inaccuracies, and confirm that we don't sell your data (we don't). You won't be treated differently for exercising any of these rights.

EEA, UK & Switzerland: We process your data to provide the service you signed up for and to keep it secure. You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, limit how we use it, and lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Children

Infanity is not designed for children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, please email privacy@infanity.xyz and we'll remove it promptly.

How We Protect Your Information

Credentials for connected services are encrypted when stored. Your personal data is protected so that only you can access it. All information sent between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit. Messages are end-to-end encrypted and unreadable by us.

If you discover a security concern, please report it to security@infanity.xyz.

Changes to This Policy

When we update this policy, we'll change the date at the top and notify you in the app or by email if anything significant changes. Your continued use of Infanity after an update means you accept the new policy.
